The description of the role:

This role combines hands-on development with architectural compliancy, focusing on modernising and streamlining processes to align with compliance requirements and reporting needs.

You will lead technical initiatives, mentor developers, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. The ideal candidate has a holistic understanding of development, architecture, DevOps practices, and data engineering workflows.


Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the DevOps teams daily development work and show direction.
• Drive automation and CI/CD practices.
• Utiilize used test automation frameworks (e.g. Robot Framework).
• Guide the integration of regulation aligned processes into teamwork.
• Ensure robust packaging, release auditing and testing.
• Proactively and independently collaborate with stakeholders.
• Promote data quality and governance.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Proven technical experience (Teradata, ETL).
• Hands-on experience with GitHub.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience in release management, packaging, testing and auditing processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with data governance and monitoring.
• Exposure to Robot Framework and migration strategies to modern test frameworks.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in data environments.
• Understanding of Wealth Management -business.
