Requirements
We are looking for a Technical Product Owner to work alongside the current PO in a transition period towards a new integration platform rollout.
The selected person will be part of the DevOps team that works on development and maintenance of ESB products - focused on WSO2 and AWS Glue technology stack.
The core purpose of the Integration TPO is to oversee client's integrations in the Business Technology area and supporting the development team in delivering the requested work. Focus of this position will be to support an ongoing development based on currently used technology stack and planning for either migration or sunset of the platform.
The development team works in SAFe methodology and plans most of the capacity in PI planning events with next planning event coming in December 2024. The TPO needs to oversee both execution of planned backlog items and unplanned work during the current Program Increment and gather requirements for the upcoming PIs.
Working relationships and stakeholders:
• Internal Customers and Product/Domain Owners.
• Back and Front-Office – working closely with development teams.
• Project Managers – working closely with project managers effectively working across multiple projects and delivering on deadlines.
Day to day responsibilities:
• Managing the backlog.
• Definining objectives by analysing user requirements.
• Recommending system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.
• Completing the software delivery cycle by coordinating requirements, schedules and activities, contributing to team meetings.
• Supporting troubleshooting problems across multiple environments.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous experience as Scrum Product Owner, working with multiple stakeholders in multiple locations.
• Technical background preferred - understanding of both development and operations;
• AWS essentials knowledge (usage of EC2, S3, Lambdas, Glue in the integration stack) is welcome.
• Knowledge of integration architecture and experience in integration development is welcome but not required.
• Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and a strong team player.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
• Realistic estimation and risk assessment skills.
General Skills (non-technical):
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead development teams.
• Ability to make decisions and be accountable for decisions and actions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective planning and organisation skills.

Additional information
Allocation: 100% / Full time hours.
Start: as soon as suitable candidate is found

Location: Helsinki - on a remote basis. Remote options can be considered within the EU.
Language: Fluent English in writing and speaking
